Windthorst won the last time they faced Vernon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lions.

Windthorst easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17.

Windthorst has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Vernon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Windthorst will take on Shallowater in a tournament on Friday. As for Vernon, they will take on Graham at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
