After four games on the road, Robertsdale is heading back home. They will take on the Spanish Fort Toros at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Robertsdale was able to grind out a solid victory over Satsuma, taking the game 29-20. The victory was just what Robertsdale needed coming off of a 61-12 loss in their prior match.
Robertsdale relied on the efforts of Dixie Baggett, who scored nine points along with six steals, and Mallorie Rothe, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaunte Sanders, who scored three points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Spanish Fort scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Baldwin County 69-26 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Spanish Fort has managed all season.
Robertsdale now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Spanish Fort, their win bumped their record up to 5-17.
Robertsdale didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Spanish Fort in their previous meeting two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 50-46 victory. Will Robertsdale repeat their success, or does Spanish Fort have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
