The Moberly Spartans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Harrisburg by a score of 78-65. The victory was some much needed relief for Moberly as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Moberly was led to victory by Cameron Doubrava and Bj Godreau. Doubrava scored 19 points, while Godreau scored 23 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Godreau has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tre Hines, who scored five points along with two steals.
Moberly pushed their record up to 8-8 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Harrisburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
Moberly will head out on the road to take on Kirksville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harrisburg, they will be playing at home against Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marshall will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 409th, while Harrisburg is ranked 203rd).
