Britton-Hecla is 1-9 against Great Plains Lutheran since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Braves will head out to  take on the Panthers  at 7:30  p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.
Britton-Hecla lost  3-0 to Hamlin on Thursday.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-12,  25-7.
 Despite the  loss, Britton-Hecla got top-tier performance from   Ava Teveldal, who  had 23  digs.
Meanwhile, Great Plains Lutheran came up short against  Clark/Willow Lake last Tuesday, falling  3-0.
 While Great Plains Lutheran was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14,  25-19.
 Britton-Hecla will have to keep a close watch on  Emily Moritz and  Bella Dunsmoor, a pair of players who had a big impact on Great Plains Lutheran's prior game. Moritz  had six  digs and five  aces, while  Dunsmoor  had eight  digs and seven  assists.
 Britton-Hecla's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Great Plains Lutheran, they now  have a losing record of 10-11.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Tuesday's  match:  Britton-Hecla has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 9.1  aces per game. However, it's not like Great Plains Lutheran struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 8.1  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Britton-Hecla couldn't quite get it done against Great Plains Lutheran in their previous matchup  back in September as they fell  2-0. Can the Braves avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
