It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Hillcrest ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Greenville Red Raiders, sneaking past 6-5. The win was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on three straight.

Hillcrest's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Greenville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.

Coming up, Hillcrest will welcome Laurens at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Greenville, they will head out to take on Wren at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
