The Sealy Tigers's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down Royal 62-44. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Sealy considering their 22-point performance the matchup before.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Layla Anderson, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Jaunsae Johnson, who scored three points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Sealy's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Royal, they bumped their record down to 5-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Sealy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wharton at 5:45 p.m. Wharton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Royal, they will head out on the road to face off against Bellville at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
