South Bend Riley was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Penn on Friday. The South Bend Riley Wildcats claimed a resounding 67-39 victory over the Penn Kingsmen. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 27 points or more this season.

Peyton Miamba and Caleb Coolman certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Miamba posted 14 points and seven rebounds, while Coolman had 14 points and five assists. Alexander Hawthorne was another key player, putting up five points.

South Bend Riley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. The loss snapped Penn's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 14-8 record.

Looking ahead, South Bend Riley will head out on the road to take on Bowman Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Bend Riley is facing Bowman Academy at the right time seeing as Bowman Academy is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Penn, they have already played their next matchup, a 72-42 win against Mishawaka on the 25th.
