Noah Tagaloa Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Segerstrom got the W thanks in part to Noah Tagaloa playing the best football he has all season. Tagaloa rushed for 172 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 40 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Segerstrom pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Tagaloa and Segerstrom will square off against Esperanza at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Big Game from Frazier As Esperanza Won 42-6
Travis Frazier was a major factor in Esperanza's victory over Garden Grove on Friday. Frazier did his part (and then some), throwing for 258 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt for the 'W'.
For the year, Frazier has thrown 16 touchdowns while averaging 263.5 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 43.72 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 119.37 passer rating.

Nathan Aceves and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Brea Olinda picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nathan Aceves. Aceves was unstoppable, rushing for 124 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 97 yards.
Westminster's probably not too fond of Aceves given he always seems to get the better of them. When Aceves last faced the Lions back in August of 2023, he rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown.

Elias Rodriguez Makes It Two for Esperanza
Another Esperanza player making an appearance on this list is Elias Rodriguez. He made three total tackles. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 51 yards.

Quentin Pacelli's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Garden Grove over Esperanza
Rounding off our Top Five is Quentin Pacelli of Garden Grove. Pacelli rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 31 receiving yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Garden Grove is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. Pacelli and Garden Grove will venture away from home to take on Westminster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
