A Season-Best Effort from Adrian Sanchez Leads Glen Rose over Godley
Glen Rose was led to victory by Adrian Sanchez, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Sanchez picked up 175 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 60 yards.

The victory got Hillsboro back to even at 3-3. Benson and Hillsboro will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Glen Rose at 7:00 p.m.

Canyon Evans Delivers Electric Performance Vs Godley
Canyon Evans posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 30 yards. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Godley had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Evans it was a similar story. When Evans last faced the Wildcats back in October of 2023, he threw for 214 yards and four touchdowns.

While Dunbar might've come up empty on Friday, Ja'Marion Garrett wasn't going down without a fight. Garrett was unstoppable, rushing for 175 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Dunbar has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. Garrett and Dunbar will look to defend their home field on Friday against Venus at 7:30 p.m.

Jacoryn Johnson Turns in Another Game with at Least Eight Total Tackles
Jacoryn Johnson continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 17th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least eight total tackles. He turned in his biggest game of the season, forcing a fumble and making 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
On the season, Johnson has averaged 11.5 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one forced fumble. This year he is already up to three.
