The Deer Park Wildcats suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 64-35 defeat at the hands of Madeira. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Deer Park in their matchups with Madeira: they've now lost four in a row.
Madeira's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aj Rockwell, who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rockwell has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Aidan Hopewell, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Deer Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Madeira, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.
Deer Park will head out on the road to challenge Reading at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madeira, they will be playing at home against Wyoming at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wyoming is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
