Despite the loss, Hurricane still got an impressive performance from Alexandra Anderson, who scored 20 points along with two blocks. Rylyn Bielinski was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five steals.
Hurricane has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Spring Valley, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.
