After losing to the Deerfield-Windsor Knights the last time they met, the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Central Fellowship Christian Academy managed a 48-44 win over Deerfield-Windsor on Friday.
Central Fellowship Christian Academy was led to victory by Kennedy Bradshaw and Kiersten Rogers. Bradshaw scored 17 points, while Rogers scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Rogers has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Morgan Riley, who scored 7 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Central Fellowship Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Deerfield-Windsor, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Fellowship Christian Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Tiftarea Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 4th. Tiftarea Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 224th, while Central Fellowship Christian Academy is ranked ninth). As for Deerfield-Windsor, they will be playing at home against Citizens Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
