Basketball Recap: Workman Piles Up the Points Against Pomona

A well-balanced attack led Workman over Pomona in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Workman Lobos blew the Pomona Red Devils out of the water with a 92-16 final score. The Lobos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 matches by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Pomona still got an impressive performance from Alejandro Rodriguez, who posted five points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Rodriguez has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Jaiden Bernard also deserves some recognition as he scored his first point of the season.

Workman is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39 points. As for Pomona, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13.
