Marion had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. On Friday they take on Solon at 7:30 PM. The odds don't look promising for Marion, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
Marion didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 21-25 to West Delaware.
Meanwhile, Solon had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 7-0 victory over West Liberty.
Solon's win lifted them to 2-0 while Marion's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Solon can add another positive mark to their record or if Marion can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Solon's step.
