Hillcrest had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Blackfoot Broncos 77-45. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Broncos back in January, they had to take a 52-50 loss.

Hillcrest got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Titan Larsen out in front who posted 12 points and six rebounds. Larsen is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Michael Mccartney, who went 6 for 11 en route to 16 points.

Hillcrest was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Blackfoot only racked up nine assists.

Blackfoot's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Chett Hyde, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 12 points, and Austin Arave, who went 7 for 15 en route to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kasen Sorensen, who earned seven points.

Hillcrest is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.1 points per game. As for Blackfoot, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7.

Hillcrest will challenge Bonneville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hillcrest knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Bonneville likes a good challenge. As for Blackfoot, they will take on Shelley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Blackfoot is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.4 points per game this season.
