The Seminole Ridge Hawks will play host again  on Monday to welcome the Deerfield Beach Bucks, where first pitch is scheduled  at 6:30  p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
 Seminole Ridge will bounce into Monday's   matchup after  beating Palm Beach Central, who they hadn't topped in nine consecutive meetings. Seminole Ridge came out on top in a nail-biter against Palm Beach Central  on Thursday and snuck past  5-3.
  Justin Precanico looked comfortable as he  pitched 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 At the plate,  Kyle Latham was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Michael Nethercote, who  scored a  run and  stole a base.
 Meanwhile, Deerfield Beach owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They had just enough and edged Olympic Heights out  2-0. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Deerfield Beach.
 The  victory  got Seminole Ridge back to even at 13-13. As for Deerfield Beach, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 13 contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record  this season.
