Last Wednesday, Alliance Christian had to suffer through a rough 71-39 loss at the hands of Conestoga Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Alliance Christian has suffered against Conestoga Christian since January 28, 2020.
Meanwhile, Linville Hill can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup last Friday. They claimed a resounding 68-23 win over Lancaster County Christian on the road. The victory was nothing new for Linville Hill as they're now sitting on three straight.
Stephen Smucker was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Derian Peterseim, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Alliance Christian's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Linville Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
Alliance Christian was dealt a bruising 102-39 defeat at the hands of Linville Hill in their previous meeting on January 5th. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Alliance Christian was down 63-13.
