The Atmore Christian Rams and the Central Christian Saints squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Atmore Christian Rams had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Saints on the road and fell 73-45. Atmore Christian has struggled against Central Christian recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Central Christian to victory were Isaac Argo and Jarrod Harmon. Argo scored 15 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds, while Harmon scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Harmon hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Knapp, who scored 13 points along with three blocks and two steals.
Atmore Christian dropped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Central Christian, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.
Atmore Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-35 win vs. Lighthouse Baptist Academy on the 9th.
