Leading Silver Valley to victory were Jasean Phillips and Jaylen Walker. Phillips scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds, while Walker scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Phillips hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Damien Grundy was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Academy of Careers & Exploration's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Silver Valley, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
