The Oakdale Eagles lost against Mount Pisgah Christian Academy back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Oakdale took a 47-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount Pisgah Christian Academy.
Leading Mount Pisgah Christian Academy to victory were Jesalyn Howard and Kaylynn Walls. Howard scored 16 points, while Walls dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The match was Walls' tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jerra Jones, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Oakdale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
Oakdale will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Unaka at 2:00 p.m. on December 30th. Unaka has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 25. Mount Pisgah Christian Academy will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Harriman at 7:20 p.m. on Saturday. Harriman is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
