The Dora Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Cordova Blue Devils with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Dora managed a 60-55 win over Cordova on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Camdan Hines was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Williams, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Dora's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Cordova, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
Dora will be playing at home against Sumiton Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cordova, they will head out on the road to take on Cold Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
