Stevenson Came Up Big in Northglenn's 41-30 Victory
Starting off the list is Northglenn's Josiah'Ez Stevenson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stevenson rushed for 301 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
On the season, Stevenson has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 156 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 87.13 rushing yards per game.

Sadly, Paul Kershaw posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Mountain Range over Northglenn on Friday. Kershaw forced a fumble, made 17 total tackles (4.0 for loss), and defended a pass.
Mountain Range is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. Kershaw and Mountain Range will challenge Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Overland picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jarrius Ward. Ward was excellent, rushing for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (102.1) per game. Overland is 4-2 when Ward posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Nehemiah Maloid Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Westminster was led to victory by Nehemiah Maloid, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Maloid threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the season, Maloid has thrown those 2 touchdowns while averaging 43.6 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to two.
