The Kenwood Bluebirds will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Perry Hall Gators at 6:00 p.m. on October 27th. Kenwood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 128th, while Perry Hall is ranked 20th).
Last Friday, Kenwood suffered a tough 32-12 loss at the hands of Woodlawn.
Although Kenwood took the loss, they still got scores from Kam Custis and Eric Tucker.
Even if they lost, Kenwood's defensive line sure didn't make it easy: Woodlawn's QB was sacked six times before it was all said and done. Woodlawn's QB won't forget Koran Chase anytime soon given Chase sacked him six times.
Meanwhile, Perry Hall put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 24-20 win over Milford Mill Academy.
Kenwood has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Perry Hall, their win was their eighth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-0.
Everything came up roses for Kenwood against Perry Hall when the teams last played back in September of 2019 as the team secured a 46-0 victory. Will Kenwood repeat their success, or does Perry Hall have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
