The Clarkson/Leigh Patriots entered their tilt with the Wisner-Pilger Gators with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Clarkson/Leigh enjoyed a cozy 52-37 victory over Wisner-Pilger on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Clarkson/Leigh also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Chloe Hanel was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Clarkson/Leigh's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Baylee Settje, who scored 12 points.
Clarkson/Leigh is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Wisner-Pilger, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarkson/Leigh will take on Twin River at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Twin River is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Wisner-Pilger, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on North Bend Central on January 25th.
