Lower Lake is 1-9 against Middletown since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lower Lake Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Middletown Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Lower Lake is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Lower Lake lost to Cloverdale on the road by a decisive 69-53 margin.
Meanwhile, Middletown came up short against Rancho Cotate on Saturday and fell 56-49.
Lower Lake has been struggling recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
Lower Lake took a serious blow against Middletown when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 68-32. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lower Lake was down 40-13.
