Lake Travis (Austin, Texas) snapped the five-game winning streak of Bowie (Austin, Texas), with a 43-0 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Dominic De Lira in the first quarter, the Cavaliers led 29-0 at the half.
Lake Travis grew its lead to 43 points entering the fourth quarter. LT scored two times in the third, including once on a
Varshaun Nixon touchdown run.
The loss comes after Bowie defeated Westlake 21-16 last week. With the win the Cavaliers extended their winning streak to four games.
Lake Travis (4-1) will play a 5A Region II District 15 game against Akins next week, while Bowie (5-1) will take on Austin also in a 5A Region II District 15 game.
