Borah is 8-2 against Capital since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Borah Lions will be home for the holidays to greet the Capital Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Borah will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Capital is ranked 17th).
Last Tuesday, Borah came up short against Timberline and fell 41-34. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Borah has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Capital entered their tilt with Boise with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Capital blew past Boise 80-49 on the road. Considering Capital has won three matchups by more than 25 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Borah bumped their record down to 2-4 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Capital, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
Borah might still be hurting after the 77-56 loss they got from Capital in their previous matchup back in January. Will Borah have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get analysis of the match and other basketball content.
