When it comes to explaining why Woodlake lost, one person who can't be blamed is Hugo Cruz. Despite the final result, he scored 8 points. Cruz scored a full 36.4% of Woodlake's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Riverdale is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Woodlake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Riverdale will look to defend their home court on Monday against Tranquillity at 7:00 p.m. Woodlake will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Laton at 1:00 p.m. on December 9th. Laton comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
