The West Limestone Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Austin Black Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. West Limestone will be looking to extend their current 19-game winning streak.
If West Limestone beats Austin with four runs on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. West Limestone narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Dunlap 4-2.

JuliAnn Kyle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Lilly Bethune was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, while Austin put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for James Clemens. Austin was the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over James Clemens. The Black Bears haven't had any issues with the Jets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Arden Breedlove and Claire Wright did most of the damage at the plate: Breedlove fired off two home runs and one stolen base while going 2-for-3, while Wright went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Wright a new career-high. Zyan Moore was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.
Austin's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-9-1. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing nine hits in those games compared to only 5.61 in the others. As for West Limestone, their record now sits at 25-2.
Austin's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. West Limestone has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.4 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Austin, though, as they've been averaging only 3.2 strikeouts. Will West Limestone keep running through batters, or will Austin buck the trend?
West Limestone beat Austin 8-5 when the teams last played on March 1st. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Limestone since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
