Westwood and Pascack Hills are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Westwood Cardinals will head out on the road to square off against the Pascack Hills Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Westwood scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Indian Hills as Westwood made off with a 70-45 win. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Meanwhile, Pascack Hills entered their tilt with River Dell with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Pascack Hills narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past River Dell 53-50.
The victory makes it two in a row for Westwood and bumps their season record up to 11-9. As for Pascack Hills, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.
Westwood didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Pascack Hills in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 60-54 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westwood since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
