Sylas Mottley of Hueneme ran for the longest rushing play in Pacific View this season against San Marcos last week. Mottley scampered for 61 yards on the play and finished with 8 on the day as his team fell to the Royals.
Hueneme fell to San Marcos 49-9 last week, the largest margin of any game. Adan Salas threw for 186 yards in the loss.
Cameron Wrout put up the best numbers through the air as Rio Mesa lost to Santa Barbara. He finished with a total of 18 completions for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wrout's favorite target this week was Brad Borodaty, who caught 6 passes for 98 yards.
Kevin Davis was a force in the backfield as Pacifica fell to Simi Valley.
Mottley was the best wideout in the league this week as the Vikings lost to Anthony Linebaugh's team. Mottley racked up 5 receptions for 109 yards. Chris Nichols helped Hueneme's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 35 yards.
Davis was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 247 yards on 25 carries as the Tritons lost to the Royals. Teammate Mike Moraga added to the ground attack by rushing for 17 yards.
He was 18-35 with 2 interceptions.
Davis provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Pacifica lost to the Pioneers. Davis' favorite target this week was Vines Deondre, who caught 4 passes for 83 yards.
The Vikings' Salas and Mottley have formed a dream team this season, leading Pacific View in both passing and receiving yards. Salas has thrown for 833 yards this season, while Mottley has 20 catches for 349 yards. Mike Moon's team's Davis leads the league in rushing yards with 538.
Camarillo led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on Burroughs.
