Two dominant guards in Christopher Smith and Trevor Dean are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Erie Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Northglenn Norsemen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Erie will be strutting in after a victory while Northglenn will be coming in after a defeat.
Erie posted their biggest win yet this season on Saturday. They blew past Poudre 62-35 on the road.
Northglenn suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were dealt a 68-33 loss at the hands of Boulder. Northglenn has struggled against Boulder recently, as their match on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
The win got Erie back to even at 6-6. As for Northglenn, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
Erie beat Northglenn 51-41 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Erie since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
