The Community Baptist Conqueror's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by South Guilford HomeSchool at home and fell 67-23. Community Baptist was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-10.
South Guilford HomeSchool was led to victory by Taliya Davis and Kourtney Bullins. Davis dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds, while Bullins scored 19 points along with five steals. The match was Bullins' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Sadie Harrell was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with four steals.
Community Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Surry HomeSchool the next time they take the court. South Guilford HomeSchool will host Surry HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Community Baptist will host them at 5:30 p.m. on January 18th.
