Parkland has won four straight games at home, while Whitehall has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Trojans will host the Zephyrs at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Wednesday, Parkland made easy work of William Allen and carried off a 14-4 win.
Parkland got a great performance from Sawyer Marsteller as he pitched five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Marsteller has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ben Weninger was a standout: he went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Peyton Scherff was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Parkland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as William Allen only posted an OBP of .333.
Meanwhile, Whitehall never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past Louis E. Dieruff 14-0. The Zephyrs haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Nik Christman looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tyler Sanders, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Donato Brigidi, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Parkland's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Whitehall, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.
Everything went Parkland's way against Whitehall in their previous meeting back in March, as Parkland made off with a 7-0 win. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Zephyrs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
