The Suffield Wildcats entered their tilt with the Morgan Huskies with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Suffield took down Morgan 47-33 on Thursday. For Suffield, this counts as revenge for the 55-38 defeat Morgan walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2016.
Morgan lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ava Johnson, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Victoria O'Neill, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Suffield pushed their record up to 11-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Morgan, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.
Suffield will head out on the road to challenge Canton at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Morgan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hale Ray at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hale Ray is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
