On Friday Concrete will take on LaConner at 7:00 PM. Concrete are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
It was a hard-fought matchup, but Concrete had to settle for a 27-40 loss against Friday Harbor last Friday. Concrete got a solid performance out of senior Marshall Fichter, who picked up 90 yards on the ground and caught passes for 76 yards; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to LaConner, but their most recent contest may have softened the blow. They came out on top against Bellevue Christian by a score of 27-20. The victory was a breath of fresh air for LaConner as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Concrete took the game and then some with a 42-7 win over LaConner the last time the two teams met. Will Concrete repeat their success, or does LaConner have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
