Payton Bryson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
