The Arroyo Valley Hawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 17th straight loss. They were dealt a 70-24 loss at the hands of Notre Dame. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Arroyo Valley in their matchups with the Titans: they've now lost four in a row.
Mark Cadena continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Notre Dame, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 21 rebounds. Cadena has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 13 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Yirmeyah Michel, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and three steals.
Arroyo Valley's defeat was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Notre Dame, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-7.
Arroyo Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Notre Dame will be playing in front of their home fans against the Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
