Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newark Catholic). They never let the Northridge Vikings get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Friday. With that win, the Green Wave brought their scoring average up to 7.4 runs per game.
Veronica Bailey (2026) was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs.
In other batting news, Joanna Snider (2026) was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Addi Gerber (2025) was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
