Mason Franklin gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in May of 2024 on Wednesday. Red Hook had no answer to Franklin as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over 5.1 innings pitched. Franklin has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
