Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Liberty Tree Academy over Kiowa in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Liberty Tree Academy put the hurt on Kiowa with a sharp 51-31 victory. The War Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.
Liberty Tree Academy's win came from a few key players James Irwin will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kaleb Mendez, who went 8-for-17 on his way to 19 points and three steals. Ryan Allen was another key player, going 5-for-8 en route to 12 points.

The win made it two in a row for Liberty Tree Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points over those games. As for James Irwin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: James Irwin has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 25.5 boards per game. However, it's not like Liberty Tree Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.4 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for James Irwin against Liberty Tree Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 75-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for James Irwin since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
