The Flint Hill Huskies are taking a road trip to face off against the Trinity Episcopal Titans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Flint Hill will be strutting in after a victory while Trinity Episcopal will be coming in after a defeat.
Flint Hill came out on top against Sidwell Friends on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fifth inning. The Huskies blew past the Quakers 12-2. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Quakers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Cate Stanley spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Jane Stanley was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-4. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Zaina Gilbert, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Trinity Episcopal's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to St. Catherine's. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Titans, who until this contest were averaging 3.82 runs allowed.
Trinity Episcopal saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caelyn Deklyn, who went 2-for-4 with one double.
Flint Hill's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Trinity Episcopal, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
Trinity Episcopal's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Flint Hill has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .451. It's a different story for Trinity Episcopal, though, as they've only averaged .363. Will they be able to contain Flint Hill's hitters?
Flint Hill suffered a grim 19-6 defeat to Trinity Episcopal in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
