After a string of 16 wins, the Valor South Austin Falcons's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They fell  41-33 to IDEA Montopolis.
 Valor South Austin's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Raynor Kaszynski, who  scored 14 points along with six  steals. Kaszynski has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last three times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cal Riley, who  scored four points along with two  steals.
 IDEA Montopolis found their leader in underclassman  Damarion Fisher, who  scored 19 points along with eight  rebounds and four  blocks. That makes it four consecutive games in which  Fisher has scored at least a third of IDEA Montopolis' points.  Trey Sneed was another key contributor,  scoring seven points along with nine  rebounds and two  blocks.
 Valor South Austin's defeat  ended a ten-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 16-3. As for IDEA Montopolis, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with that  victory, which was their tenth straight  at home.
 Valor South Austin will take on KIPP Austin Brave at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for IDEA Montopolis, they will head out on the road to  face off against  IDEA Bluff Springs at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday.
