Dante Gentile Dazzles in Springfield Victory
Starting off the list is Springfield's Dante Gentile, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Gentile rushed for 232 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 115 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Geno Perry continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his sixth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 109 rushing yards. He rushed for 192 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 67 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Perry and Lowellville will challenge Waterloo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Vikings, probably because Perry had a solid game then too: he rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Darney Posts Huge Game in 42-16 Victory
Western Reserve found a leader in Jack Darney as the team took down Waterloo on Friday. Nobody could stop Darney as he rushed for 144 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.
If history really does repeat itself, Darney might just drop another big game when he faces off against Mineral Ridge on Friday. When Darney last faced the Rams back in October of 2023, he rushed for 138 yards while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Ricky Willrich Delivers Best Performance of Season
Ricky Willrich produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Lowellville to the win on Friday. Willrich threw for 160 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes.
For the year, Willrich has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 186 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 7.63 passing yards per game.
