The Ridgeland Panthers lost against the Adairsville Tigers back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Ridgeland suffered a tough 75-52 defeat at the hands of Adairsville. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ridgeland in their matchups with Adairsville: they've now lost four in a row.
Ridgeland lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chase Hickman, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Ramsey, who scored eight points.
Ridgeland's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Adairsville, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeland will take on Gordon Lee at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Gordon Lee is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Adairsville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coahulla Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
