In what's become a running theme this season, the North Blue Devils gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They claimed a resounding 90-58 win over Destiny at home. Given North's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 190th, while Destiny is ranked 438th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
North's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Adams, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Kenneth Maclin, who scored 15 points along with five assists and two steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for North and bumps their season record up to 10-8. As for Destiny, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
North won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Milwaukee Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. North is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 66.7 points per game this season. As for Destiny, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Waukesha West at 7:00 p.m. on February 19th.
