On Thursday, Cottage suffered a tough 61-35 loss at the hands of Heritage Preparatory. Cottage has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Cottage still got an impressive performance from Alyssa Briggs, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Briggs' ninth in a row with at least ten points. Finley Love was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 5 steals.
Cottage's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Heritage Preparatory, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cottage will take on Tapestry Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage Preparatory, they will play host again and welcome The Weber School, where tip off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
