Everything went their way against the Greensboro Raiders on Tuesday as they made off with a 23-1 win. Carmen Beard made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Hale County got a massive performance out of Adalyn Seale, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1. What's more, Seale posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in February. Stormie Averette was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
