The Christian School at Castle Hills Eagles's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They came out on top against Logos Prep Academy by a score of 54-44.
Despite the loss, Logos Prep Academy saw an underclassman step up: Caleb Sedgwick scored 21 points along with six steals and three blocks. That's the first time this season that Sedgwick posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Clayton Goldy, who scored 11 points.
The Christian School at Castle Hills' win bumped their record up to 7-19. As for Logos Prep Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Christian School at Castle Hills' road trip will continue as they head out to face Cornerstone Christian at 12:00 p.m. on January 2nd. Averaging 58.2 so far this season, Cornerstone Christian's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so The Christian School at Castle Hills better be ready for a challenge. As for Logos Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Faith West Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith West Academy is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
