Oxon Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Damia Worthy out in front who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. The contest was Worthy's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dashani Coleman, who scored ten points along with seven assists and six steals.
Oxon Hill's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
Oxon Hill won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hammond at 2:00 p.m. on December 30th. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Hammond: 27.7, Oxon Hill: 25.5) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Liberty, they will head out on the road to face off against Francis Scott Key at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Francis Scott Key and Liberty are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
